Joel Mozersky

Mozersky in front of MTV Austin Real World House

Joel Mozersky of One.Eleven.Design is the interior design darling of Austin and beyond, and chances are that you’ve shopped, eaten or been coiffed in one of his spaces. But did you know that he originally designed the new Sikara & Co store on 2nd street?

Mozersky began his design career in 1998 when he was responsible for designing the Jackson Ruiz Salon. He soon left his mark on other places in Austin as he was chosen to design such diverse spaces as MTV’s Austin Real World House, tour buses for the Dixie Chicks, as well as beloved Austin places such as Uchi, Uchiko, La Condesa, The Belmont, El Gringo, Oslo, Bird’s Barbershop, Mint, Girl Next Door, Underwear and Sikara’s 2nd Street store! The space when designed by Mozersky back in 2007 was a home design and fine gift store called Finch. But their trademark shelving, reminiscent of a gallery space, is still here and where Sikara proudly displays all the jewels in their country collections. As if you needed another reason to check out our new 2nd street location!   417 West 2nd Street, Austin, 78701
