Two summers ago, I read Into the Wild by Jack Krakauer and loved it! It’s about a recent college graduate who gives away his belongings, burns all his money and attempts to survive in the wild. It is often compared to The Call of the Wild by Jack London. The Call of the Wild was free on my Kindle so I decided to give it a try. I assumed it would also tell the story of a man battling with mother nature for survival. Instead The Call of the Wild is about the tough and vulgar men involved in the Klondike Gold Rush, as told from the point of view of one of their sled dogs. I’m just so impressed that the author manages to have a dog tell the story without turning The Call of the Wild into 101 Dalmatians. I’m going to keep reading The Call of the Wild on my bus ride to Sikara!

I absolutely love “The Magic by Rhonda Byrne.” It is a 28 day guide designed to help us be mindful of our blessings, and I love starting the day off with a positive attitude!

The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo is one of my all time favorite books – it’s an easy read with such a deep meaning of believing and finding your destiny. “When you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires to that your wish comes true.”
