Frisco Friday: National Day of Unplugging 2013

Digital Detox

Head over to Fun Cheap SF for more details.

Well this is interesting! March 1st, at sundown, marks the start of National Day of Unplugging 2013.  People across the U.S. will unplug, and refrain from using any technology for 24 hours. This includes phones, laptops, tablets. This also means no e-mail, no Facebook, no Twitter! What’s a gal to do? Oh yeah, shop!

Pick out an outfit, and don’t forget to accessorize! Then, check out something new. Talk to your neighbor, have a nice dinner (with no interruptions),  or just get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine that San Francisco has been drenched with lately! I don’t know about you, but the more I think about it, the more excited I get. A day of uninterrupted fun sounds good to me! What will you do while away from your devices? Let us know! Need a suggestion? If your in SF, head to Device Free Drinks, in North Beach, and play board games, try some organic beverages (Both alcoholic and non), and listen to some live music. Have a fun and device free weekend.

Cheers!
